Sensor Interfaces

Sensor interfaces are intermediary devices that connect sensors — most commonly strain gage-based load cells, force sensors, or torque sensors — to data acquisition systems, indicators, controllers, or test frames. Their role is to:

  • Condition and linearize the sensor output signals
  • Facilitate easy wiring and calibration
  • Provide identification, scaling, or configuration metadata
  • Enable interoperability among sensors and instruments
